At Halo Homecare, we provide a responsive respite homecare service that offers friends and family the opportunity to take a well-deserved break from their role as a primary carer, as well as unexpected or short-term cover for your existing home carer.
Our tailored one-to-one support is designed to slot in with the care and routines already in place. It remains completely flexible to your requirements – we can step in as and when you need us, on an ongoing basis, or just as a one-off service.
Our team will work with you and your family, and your existing carers if you need short-term cover for absence, to create a respite care solution that offers all the support that you need.
Temporary round the clock support from a live-in carer who comes to stay for at least a few days, but could stay for up to a few weeks. It is designed for people with higher level care needs who require full time support to stay safely at home. This could be due to a person recovering from an operation or unexpected illness, or may be an individual who has specialist care requirements such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease or Multiple Sclerosis. Our expert live-in carers are trained to help with the physical, emotional and practical support that is required. They provide peace of mind that you can take a break whilst reassured that your loved one is safe and well looked after in your absence.
A flexible short term service for someone who needs a little help to remain safely and independently at home. From as little as 30 minutes a week, to a few hours daily, or help overnight, our tailored respite visiting service guarantees continuity of care whilst you take a welcome break. We can step in on a regular basis or we can help cover holiday periods to suit your requirements. Either way, our carers will work to your established routines and preferences to ensure minimal disruption to all involved.
We understand that sometimes the need for respite care for your loved one can arise quickly and take you by surprise. You may have become unexpectedly ill, have a family emergency to attend to, or you are urgently needed elsewhere. Be assured that our care management team can respond quickly to your needs and provide a homecare assessment within 24 hours.
